The City of Bell offers a variety of senior programs and activities to have fun and stay active! Click on the options below and contact us should you have any questions.

Daily Lunch Program

In collaboration with the Human Services Association (HSA) to implement a daily food program that provides seniors with warm meals. Meals are distributed based on a reservation system each day that is facilitated by HSA staff. 

Suggested Donation: $3.00

Location: Bell Community Center

Days: Monday to Friday

Time: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Registration: Monday through Friday based on reservation availability

Bell 55+ Club

Join the Bell 55+ Club and connect with an active and welcoming community of older adults. Members enjoy access to social services, enriching programs, and opportunities to build lasting friendships in an inclusive environment.

The Club meets every Wednesday at the Bell Community Center for Bingo, offering friendly competition and the chance to win prizes. Seasonal lunches are also hosted throughout the year, providing a festive setting to celebrate various holidays. In addition, members also gather on the last Wednesday of each month to celebrate birthdays and foster community connection.

Supportive Services Program

The Supportive Services Program (SSP) is here to help Bell's older adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable. SSP offers ongoing care management, in-home assessments, and connections to valuable referrals and resources which are designed to make daily living easier. Eligible participants are age 60 or older, have difficulty with daily activities, are homebound, and are willing to take part in care management.
