EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The City of Bell Strategic Plan 2023-2025 outlines defined goals for the city to implement with clear direction for the city's future growth. With involved months of collaboration among City leaders, staff and community members: a Strategic Plan Workshop was held on October 7, 2023. 

The Plan reflects the shared aspirations of all stakeholders involved and sets a comprehensive framework to guide our city over the upcoming years:

Foundations of Success: The core of the Strategic Plan initiates a commitment to economic development in order to improve quality of life, have sustainable budgeting, and generate revenue practices. By embracing the sound of financial practices, the city is ensuring its long-term stability to better navigate economic uncertainties and invest in services and infrastructure that matter most to our residents. 

Community-Driven Community: A significant part of the strategic plan is to emphasize on community engagement and development. Bell is dedicated to providing exceptional community services and recreational opportunities where residents can live, work, and play in an inclusive environment.  

Enhancing Bell Safety: The city prioritizes the safety of residents through prioritizing parking control and public safety measures such as investments in state-of-the-art technology, continuous training for our first responders, and strengthening community-police relationships. Here, Bell is creating an environment where everyone feels secure in the community.

Innovation & Efficiency: Bell is dedicated to enhancing operations and optimizing processes through a culture of ongoing improvement. This strategy empowers every city employee to contribute to Bell's government running smoothly and responsive to community needs.
