Danny Aleshire
Danny Aleshire is an Equity Partner in the firm’s Irvine office and serves as City Attorney for the City of Bell and the City of Glendora, and as Legal Counsel for the Carson Reclamation Authority. He has previously served as Special Counsel for the cities of Carson, Rancho Palos Verdes, Morro Bay, Lompoc, Signal Hill, and as land use counsel for the Pebble Beach Company. He is a Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate and Economic Development Practice Groups, as his legal expertise primarily involves real estate, land use, and environmental matters.
Danny joined the firm in 2018 after nine years of private practice representing a wide variety of real estate owners, developers, investors, institutions, nonprofits, and lenders on all aspects of real estate and project development involving large-scale, complex transactions, including trophy real estate assets across the country. During his time at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP, Danny successfully negotiated real estate transactions valued between $10 million and $700 million. He also assisted landowners and developers through all stages of the entitlement and development process, providing counsel on local planning and zoning regulations and approvals, as well as related CEQA and environmental matters.
In addition to serving as a City Attorney for the City of Glendora and the City of Bell, and Danny advises the firm’s municipal and agency clients on various development projects, real estate transactions, land use issues, state and local governmental regulatory requirements, and related environmental laws, including CEQA and the California Coastal Act. He also provides legal counsel to a variety of pro bono clients, including the Death Valley Conservancy and the Death Valley ‘49ers, Inc.
