Street lights are maintained by the Southern California Edison Company. To report broken lights, please call the number above. Edison requires between 3 and 30 days to do the repair. You can also report a streetlight issue online.

Call the number above to report potholes or any damage to sidewalk and curb and gutter. Repairs are made based on the severity, risk, and other factors.

The City maintains trees in the public right-of-way such as parks and parkways. Please call the number above to report overgrown trees that are damaging sidewalks, dead or diseased trees, fallen tree branches, protruding roots, etc.

Consolidated Disposal Service (CDS) is the City's franchise hauler for residential and commercial waste removal.
Street Sweeping (323) 923-2627
Call the number above to report any street sweeping issue. See the street sweeping schedule and map(PDF, 531KB). Residential streets are swept once a week between 2 am and 5 am. Commercial streets (Florence, Gage, and Atlantic) are swept six times a week between 11 pm and 5 am.
Sanitary Sewer (323) 923-2627
The physical sewer collection infrastructure is owned by the City and contains 37 miles of gravity sewer main with about 8611 lateral connections. The sewage collected from the City’s sewer collection system is transported to a collection/interceptor main owned by the Sanitation District of Los Angeles County, District 1. The City utilizes contractor to maintain, repair and respond to emergency sanitary sewer overflows. The City conducts sanitary sewer system inspection every other year, which includes manholes, pipes, siphons, regular cleaning and repairing.

The Public Works Division monitors traffic throughout the City and modifies traffic light timing to enhance the flow of traffic. We provide services related to traffic signs, street name signs, traffic lines, crosswalks and pedestrian traffic control.
