The City of Bell is excited about the future of Pritchard Field Park. This park will provide much-needed Recreational Green Space and Open Space for our community to gather, exercise and enjoy. It will provide the first Dog Park in the City of Bell and a new Walk Trail for residents. The City is extremely thankful to Congressman Robert Garcia for his allocation of $1.1 million dollars in Federal Funds to assist with this project.
The City received an additional $4.5 million dollars from the State of California for the project. The new Pritchard Field Park is estimated to cost approximately $7.5 million dollars. The City will not receive any of the Federal or State funds until the project begins construction, and the City will utilize other funds to complete the remainder of the estimated project costs. The City estimates that the Pritchard Field Park project will begin construction by late July 2024.
