PROPERTY AND EVIDENCE
The Property and Evidence Division is responsible for the secure management, storage, and release of property and evidence within the department. Our team ensures that all property is handled in accordance with legal requirements and departmental policies, maintaining accountability and transparency throughout the process.
Our Services:
· Property Release: Assist individuals in retrieving their property following proper verification and documentation procedures.
· Evidence Management: Secure storage, cataloging, and maintenance of evidence for ongoing and closed investigations.
· Property Intake: Accept, document, and securely store items recovered, seized, or turned in to the department.
· Disposal of Property: Proper disposal of unclaimed or legally forfeited items according to regulations.
· Assistance and Guidance: Provide information to the public regarding property status, procedures, and required documentation.
